Generational journeys begin at the beginning.

HOUSE OF WILD

A person with a large white sun hat and white lace dress standing in the backseat of a safari vehicle, looking at the landscape of bushes and trees with mountains in the distant background during late afternoon or early evening.

Africa is often seen as something to experience later.

We believe the opposite.

The earliest journeys shape how children come to understand the world.
When Africa is experienced through curiosity, safety, and thoughtful guidance, it becomes the foundation for a lifetime of travel.

House of Wild creates safari journeys where young children are genuinely welcomed, parents feel completely at ease, and Africa is experienced privately, unhurried, and deeply considered.

A considered approach to family safaris, shaped by experience.

House of Wild was founded by safari photographer Jemma Wild, whose work across Africa’s leading safari lodges has given her a rare understanding of the realities of safari travel.

Through this experience, she recognised a gap - families seeking the same level of considered travel from the very beginning of their children’s lives.

House of Wild was created to meet that need.

It is a reflection of both personal experience and a deep understanding of Africa’s most exceptional safari properties.

Travel designed around your family, not adapted to it.

Unhurried mornings. Flexible days.

Space to explore, rest, and experience Africa together.

Considered Placement

Every House of Wild journey begins with careful placement.
Families are matched with lodges, guiding teams, and regions that allow Africa to be experienced comfortably, and at its very best.

Extraordinary Encounters

A first safari should feel extraordinary.
Each journey is designed to create meaningful encounters with Africa - moments that shape a child’s understanding of the world.

Private Access

Through longstanding relationships with Africa’s leading safari lodges and guiding teams, House of Wild offers access to exceptional, privately curated family experiences.

Sense of Place

We work with properties that genuinely understand how luxury safari and young families coexist - where children are welcomed, and parents travel with complete confidence.
